Book Week family night


Book Week family night

We will be holding our inaugural Book Week Family Night on Thursday 22 August 2013, 6pm to 7pm approximately, the highlight of our Book Week celebrations. This night provides a chance for students to share their work with family and friends. At this special night you will be able to enjoy ,presentations from competition short-listed students  and listening to a local guest author, Betty Johnston and seeing a display of her beautiful quilts used for illustrations.

Other activities  include Voting for your favourite portrait – students work will be displayed, Interactive whiteboard presentations on the Children’s book council short-listed books and competitions and seeing the prize presentations for each Book Week competition – presented by Betty Johnston

Who will be our first The MESS portrait prize winner?


Prior to the Book Week family night the P&C and the Parent & Community engagement committee will be holding a free sausage sizzle , starting at 5pm. Tea, coffee and cordial will also be provided.

If you will be attending Book family night please complete the form in the news information available in the quick links section to the right and return to the library, as this will allow us to cater for food and seating.
