Our school is committed to providing inclusive and equitable learning environments for all students. Our schools aims to support academic achievement, cultural understanding, and social-emotional wellbeing by fostering a sense of belonging and identity. A key focus within this system is the active engagement and success of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students, recognising their cultures, histories, and contributions as a vital part of our shared future.

To support this vision, schools implement a range of initiatives that promote strong connections between students, families, and communities. Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander perspectives are embedded across the curriculum, and schools work to create culturally safe spaces that respect and celebrate identity. These efforts not only support Indigenous students in reaching their potential but also enrich the educational experience for all learners.

At our school, we are proud of the work led by our identified Indigenous Teacher Aide, Emma Dunleavy, and our Community Education Counsellor (CEC), Rebecca Thornton. Together, they run our Indigenous engagement program, which provides tailored academic and wellbeing support, cultural activities, and regular community outreach. Their efforts play a key role in fostering strong relationships between students, families, staff, and the broader community.

Through Emma and Rebecca's leadership, our school continues to build a learning environment where Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students feel supported, empowered, and proud of their cultural identity. Their work contributes meaningfully to closing the gap in educational outcomes while also strengthening our school’s commitment to reconciliation and respect.​
